Fusing an intimate interview with a traditional music video is just one example of Emma Ruth Rundle's warped originality. A sonic day dreamer, her new single 'Real Big Sky' is about sparse as experimental as it gets, seeing her interweave nothing but rattling acoustic guitar with her dramatic vocals. She's playing with techniques and layers, and the result is both startling honest and flippant in the face of formality. From what we've heard in this and previously in precursor tracks 'Protection' and 'Marked For Death', the album is to be entirely theaputic for Rundle, purging her of big questions and past experiences.
